Foolish World 12:41 p.m. 2005-04-01 I am truly the fool! Turns out my "car trouble" was my own fault. I should really know what each button in my car does. I mistakenly clicked on the "child protectantlock" in my car, and that is why the windows wouldn't go down. Silly me. And the CD player..well, I guess my Linda Ronstadt's Greatest Hits CD is dead. I guess I should expect it after it has hit the ashalt so many times, and I should realize that I should maybe discontinue playing it--who wants to hear Desperado skipping constantly until it runs into Heat Wave? I need a new Linda Ronstadt CD..my CD player is fine. Silly me. I was baking in the car yesterday afternoon, unable to open windows, and afraid to use the air conditioning in fear my battery would die. March has gone, and it has been truly a very depressing month. Too many people I knew have died, and the Pope is also close to death. It's sad. I feel bad about the Pope--maybe I should stop at the church and light a candle or something. Terry Schiavo case is still bothering me as well; frightening. She was disabled, not terminal. They interviewed a co-worker who knew her well, who was told that she was seriously thinking of divorcing the hubby. Most people do not convey messages like those to other people unless they were about to act on them. And if she was truly a private person, she certainly would not have said it jokingly. Saddest part, she sounded like someone who was just "discovering herself" in her 20's, as well has having serious Bulima. What triggers Bulima? Depression? Perfection? A need of Control? I have sympathy for all who is involved, but for God's sake, I hope her remains go back to her parents. She is their child. Hug your kids today! Coelha@aol.com |
