Need a Haircut? 12:38 p.m. 2005-05-04 There is a barber shop on the corner next to my office building. Let me tell you a little bit on where exactly this barber shop is located. Basically, it's just down the street from the county jail, next to the bail bonds office, and legal form help office, near the probation department, and across the street from the court house. You can't miss this place. Usually, sitting in front of the establishment there are at least two people sitting on the outside bench. Yesterday afternoon, sitting there were 2 transient looking individuals both with long hair and beards---possibly not the best people to advertise a barber shop business. Anyway, I guess if you need a haircut before your next court appearance, it's situated in the best location. I'm not going to name names, but some of the employees and patrons of the place do from time to time visit this office. And no, I've never seen an attorney come out of the place with a haircut. Gee, I wonder why. Also, there is speculation that there might be more than just cutting hair being done there. Gee..what a surprise. I wish I had a window that I can look out of sitting here at work. So much goes on out there in the "real world" all I can do is mess with the paperwork. Oh woe is me. Coelha@aol.com |
