Runaway Dum Dum 11:26 a.m. 2005-05-06 I'm getting sick of tierd reading about the Runaway Bride woman! She reminds me of Olive Oil from the Popeye cartoons. It is obvious that this woman has some psychological problems. What was she trying to accomplish by running away a few days short of her lavish wedding? Did she feel that she wasn't getting enough attention and that her beau was hogging the limelight or what? She is getting a lot of media attention for what she did now. Should they press criminal charges on her? Gee, I don't know. Let's see.. she obviously planned her "escape" when she bought her bus ticket out of town. How much was spent on "finding" her? Over $40,000 you say? And, what about the grief and worry that was shared by her relatives and friends--and the worry she spread within her state; country? How many people feared to go outside to take that walk or jog thinking that the streets may be even more unsafe when hearing about her disappearance? What about all the people that have truly gone missing--their families? HELLO!!!! This groom of hers hopefully is thinking this out through. Do you want to be committed to a woman who is capable of staging her own disappearance? Strange. She needs to spend a few nights in jail, or better yet, speak to families who have lost family members that have truly disappeared! Let her work volunteer hours for Amber Alert--maybe it will open her eyes a little bit.. I dunno, it's just my opinion! |
