Hello Wednesday! 1:10 p.m. 2005-06-29 Oh dear... I haven't entered an entry on here for quite awhile. Oh well. I was on vacation last week, and I didn't have time. I usually only have time when I'm in front of a computer at work---I guess that makes sense. When I am at home, I don't have time for the computer; besides, there is usually somebody else on the computer, or AOL won't sign on like it suppossed to. I think its getting more difficult nowadays because I don't have DSL--it's a conspiracy--I just know it. If you get DSL you'll get a better connection--bottom line. Oh well. Well, today at work, there is less to do, but it started on a frightful note. I opened a previous open envelope and out popped a big spider! There is just too much excitement here already-- The department is remodeling...wow...and the front offices are a mess. Our receptionist did not have a desk for 3 hours, and roamed in the halls meeting with clients.... Lovely. Well, at least she came in today. When I got back to work yesterday, I had piles and piles of work to do; but I didn't mind. My day went fast, but by the end of the day; my eyes and head was spinning. I MUST GET AWAY from the computer I said..over and over again; but did I? Of course not. By the time I got home, my brain was FRIED, and after I had my dinner (which was a bagel) and fed the baby, I went out to the park for a walk with the little one while hubby and son munched on sandwiches. I just needed to get out and get some fresh air! I really like the fact that it's getting darker so much later now. Now, I can take Nicholas out to the park and walk my mile around it. Yesterday, however, Nick wanted to climb on the structures (I follow him--he is so fearless--he is only about 20 mos., and he climbs on those things without a 2nd thought. I'm following him leaving with a hunchback afterwards following him through the plastic tubes and slides.) at the park, and make his way around the neighborhood. He didn't want to hold my hand...no..he wanted to walk where he wanted on his terms, with a very determined look on his little red face. It's very hard to control a 35 lb. kicking and screaming child. I can only imagine what the passerbys in cars must have thought: "Is she stealing that child?" or "Why is she making that baby walk around the neighborhood..." "Should we call CPS?" Oh well, I made it home, and once we got there on the couch with his warm bottle, the child that once didn't want anything to do with me 5 minutes previous, sat lovingly on my lap. We watched Average Joe with Dad. My God people...is there anything GOOD on T.V. anymore? Then we saw I Want To Be A Hilton. Gag. That Scottish dancer, Yvette should have been kicked out..I'm sorry. After awhile I decided to go online, and I stopped by and sat in a chatroom I used to visit. Oh my God..was my life once this pathetic. See what bad T.V. can do?! Force bored adults to sit in chatrooms and listen to people act like total morons, and watch desperate men and women exchange photos? Eeekk... I can't look anymore; it's almost hurts too much. Here is a T.V. reality show idea: Chatroom World---have a bunch of people on computers share a room thinking that they are chatting with other people, but in reality..they aren't... It would be a REAL EYE OPENER!!!! Coelha@aol.com |
