Frustrating day...ALREADY!
10:13 a.m. 2005-07-20

I'm frustrated with health insurance representatives; especially those who like calling older people and convince them to change policies. There should be a law prohibting this. There also should be a law to regulate COBRA policies. I have been attempting to change my mother's insurance before her COBRA ends, and I was just informed that I need yet ANOTHER letter. Good think I called, otherwise she would be left with no insurance at all at the 1st of the next month. Gee, don't people READ attached letters anymore?! "Please contact me if there is ANY PROBLEM." Of course they don't call me. I call them because I KNOW they won't read the letter. Why do I even bother?!!!!!

I had to replace my hard drive at my computer at home, and we've been trying to get AOL access #'s since late yesterday afternoon still with no success. What is it about AOL? Do I dare call them and ask what is up? I dare not to. The last time I called I swear I was talking to someone in India. Although there were very polite, I'm sorry, but I could not understand what they were saying; and I am guessing that they didn't understand me either. They did not help me. It's kind of sad when an American company has to hire people overseas to run their company. Hello---aren't there enough computer geeks in America that speak English for hire around here?

Okay, while I'm on the subject, another thing that iritates me are people who "play stupid" just so they can pass the buck to someone else, or those who don't listen when you are talking to them. Oh, and lawyers..yeah..I'm sorry but I don't like the lawyer mentality around here. I'll get a call from them, and after announce who they are, they seem to expect me to drop everything and bow in front of them "at your service". I don't work for you buddy. We have this one particular lawyer that shares are building whose clients are all involved in criminal cases, and he just takes advantage of the fact that his office is near ours. He makes me get up each time when he knocks on the door, and he just thinks he can just barge in here and get special treatment. He is all nice and smiling ONLY to the ones he needs to work with; in other words, fake. I can't stand FAKE people. Anyone that can smile and lie through their teeth to you just gives me the impression of something evil.
