Whistling 1:03 p.m. 2006-02-14 To Whistle, or Not To Whistle... There are just some places where whistling is not allowed. I mean, I have nothing against someone who likes to whistle a little tune, but PLEASE, must you whistle on the toilet?! I had to use the bathroom facilities in the building at work today, and I was sitting there, in my stall, I heard some woman whistle in as she walked inside the bathroom. She proceeded to whistle the ENTIRE time she was sitting on the toilet, as she flushed, as she washed her hands, and as she proceeded out the door. Now I'm presuming this whistler person was a woman, but, you never know. Our bathroom key opens both the women's and men's bathrooms. Now, either way, this whistling really made me feel uncomfortable. The tune this person was whistling wasn't even familar to me, but for some odd reason, I felt as though I was part of this little "show" she was performing. I made sure to flush before she left to let her know she had an audience. Yes, I was tempted to say something, but I was afraid the whistler was someone I had to deal with later. Okay, that is my rant for the day! Have a great Valentines! |
