Coffee & Painted ON Eyebrows.. 9:12 a.m. 2006-03-16 I don't write in here too often, so I'll write in here today, just to play catch up! My coffee buddy is sick, and I hate getting coffee alone, so I went to the drive thru to get my morning coffee. I ordered my large coffee, and I was asked if I wanted cream and sugar by the woman with the painted on eyebrows at the window. Trying so hard not to stare at those incredibly cat like, unnatural looking eyebrows of hers, I said, yes please; and asked for the "pink sugar or blue". I was given an odd look (I don't think the woman understood that I wanted sugar substitute, or whether or not she noticed that I was getting a little freaked out over her artistic eyebrow technique) Apparently, she didn't understand me because when I looked in my bag and there were about 5 creams in there and 10 sugars. My God woman, do you want to give me diabetes or what?! I just ordered one fricken coffee! Of course, I didn't say anything, I handed her the sugars, and asked for the "pink kind", and she gave me about 20 of those. Okay, lady, whatever... I'm glad I don't own that franchise... It's cold outside, and there isn't much work to do. It looks like rain! I hope the lady with the painted on eyebrows covers her face. Whatis it with that "painted on eyebrow" look anyway? Do some women just give up on plucking, and decide to just shave it off and start anew? Freaky. I can understand if you are sick, and your hair falls out for whatever reason, but that painted on look gives me the chills. My boss went through chemo, and lost her eyebrows, and painted her's on for awhile, but they would then fade away everytime she had a hot flash. Poor lady. Now she's got them back again, with a new head of hair that she dyed red. Not natural red, but RED, like a fire engine red. She is now sporting that new "Boy George" hair style; which I think is pretty cool. She is quite the inspiration! |
